Conception Bay North’s
Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan
Together, we can build a safer, stronger CBN, and your voice matters.
Together, we can build a safer, stronger CBN, and your voice matters.
This plan will guide how we make Conception Bay North safer and more supportive for everyone who lives, works, and plays here. It focuses on mental health support, crime prevention, and building a community where every generation thrives.
The goal is to create a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan that’s rooted in local voices and built through community collaboration.
Listening to residents about what makes them feel safe or unsafe in their communities and why
Creating a practical, locally informed plan that helps CBN and its partners take clear, effective action together and aligns with the direct needs of the communities
Building on community strengths while also addressing challenges
Identifying opportunities to prevent crime, support mental health, and foster a stronger sense of belonging
HERE IS WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE IN ACTION:
We’re in the listening and learning phase right now. Over the next few months, we will:
-
Gather input through surveys and community conversations
-
Identify key issues and opportunities
-
Build a plan with clear actions and goals
-
Share what we heard and what we’re doing next
